Penn College emerged victorious over Elmira College with a decisive 28-1 win in a nonconference men's lacrosse game on Saturday. This result bolstered the Wildcats' record to 10 wins and four losses, while the Soaring Eagles remained winless this season.
The game saw Penn College taking a commanding lead, scoring 11-0 in the first and going into halftime with a 22-1 advantage. They continued their dominance, outscoring Elmira 6-0 in the second half.
Elliot Dotson contributed significantly to the Wildcats' success, scoring four goals and assisting four others, amassing eight points. Roman DeCenzo led with six goals, followed by Jake Small, who scored three goals and assisted four times. Jesse Welch and Owen Kupsey each added two goals. John Dolezal and Will Ehret also provided valuable support with three assists each.
Goalkeeper Ryan Twist secured the win with two saves.
The Wildcats are scheduled to play at Westminster on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
