The University of Pennsylvania's cross country teams are set to begin their 2023 season at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday evening. The women's race will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's race at 6:15 p.m. Both events will take place on the Goodman Campus Cross Country course.

This competition marks the first of three appearances for the Quakers on this course during the season. They will return on September 30 for the annual Paul Short Invitational and again on November 10 for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.

The last time Penn participated in the Lehigh Invitational was in 2021, where the women's team finished fifth and the men's team secured third place on a 6K course.
