State Senator Eugene Yaw | Pennsylvania
The Center for Rural Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Rural Population Revitalization Commission will hold an inaugural press conference to recognize all Commission appointees. The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in the Erie Room of the Crossroads Conference Center located on the second level of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.
The commission was established by Act 21 of 2024 with a mission to create "reviews and recommendations aimed at attracting and retaining residents in rural Pennsylvania while addressing challenges facing rural communities due to population shifts and changing demographics." The commission's work includes recommending legislation and regulatory changes.
