Penn College senior Noah Hunt has been recognized as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Wrestler of the Week, according to an announcement made by the conference office on Monday.

Hunt, who is ranked fourth in Region 2 at 141 pounds in the NWCA preseason coaches rankings, moved up to compete in the 149-pound weight class. He advanced to the championship final at the Ithaca Invitational. Hunt began his season with a 4-1 record, securing bonus-point victories that included two first-period falls, a first-period technical fall, and a second-period fall. These performances earned him a team-high score of 21.5 points and secured his place in the championship bout. His sole defeat came from Elijah Cyr of Castleton, who is ranked fifth in Region 1 at 149 pounds, with a close decision of 17-15.

This marks Hunt's second time receiving the Wrestler of the Week award; he previously received this honor on January 22, 2024.
