The women's volleyball team concluded their 2022 season with two victories out of 21 matches, marking their highest win count since 2017. Despite going winless in eight United East (UE) outings, coach Carolyn McKeon observed player bonding and team development during her second season. She highlighted some unexpected on-court success, noting close games and sets won against conference leaders Penn State Harrisburg and St. Mary's (Md.) College.
Three players made significant achievements by entering the UE top 10 in various statistical categories. These players are junior Cheyenne Stein from Orwigsburg, freshman Brooke Simmons from Waterford, and junior Coryn Oswald from Langhorne.
Coach McKeon, who has led the teams to a 3-35 record, expressed her intention to continue building the program in both numbers and strength through recruitment efforts and an active social media presence.
The team's final records for the season were 0-8 in UE play and 2-19 overall. Christine Limbert from Curwensville received postseason recognition by being named to the UE All-Sportsmanship Team.
