After completing his first season as coach at Penn College, Tom Leeser expressed optimism about the future of both the men's and women's track and cross-country teams. The Wildcat men secured third place among eight teams at the conference meet. Freshmen Mitchell Campbell from Riegelsville and Matthew Woolcock from Oil City placed third and seventh, respectively. The men's team also achieved a 25th place finish out of 32 at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region race, marking a record high for the program.

On the women's side, despite not having enough participants to form a full team at the conference meet, senior Skyelar Splain from Liverpool made an individual impact. A softball player who joined to bolster numbers, Splain finished 16th individually, narrowly missing all-conference second-team honors by two positions. She was also the top performer for her team at regionals.

Coach Leeser commented on his players' dedication: "It's a great group of kids. They have good attitudes; they work hard. They enjoy being together, and all of those intangible things have been positive. If we can keep adding a little bit of talent every year, I think we have something good started. I'm optimistic."

In postseason accolades, Mitchell Campbell was named to the UE first team and received Rookie of the Year honors. Matthew Woolcock also earned UE first-team recognition. Spencer Doughty from Mechanicsburg and Skyelar Splain were selected for the UE All-Sportsmanship Teams for men and women respectively.
