Penn College secured its fifth consecutive win with a 13-7 victory over Shenandoah University in a nonconference men's lacrosse match held in Winchester, Virginia. The Wildcats now hold a record of 5-2, while the Hornets have fallen to 3-4.
The game began with Shenandoah taking an early lead, but Penn College responded with four consecutive goals, culminating in Will Ehret's goal with 3:31 remaining in the first quarter, giving them a 4-1 advantage. By the end of the first quarter, the score was narrowed to 5-3 after Elliot Dotson scored for Shenandoah. Both teams added one goal each in the second quarter, bringing the halftime score to 6-4.
In the third quarter, Penn College outscored Shenandoah 4-1 and continued their dominance into the fourth quarter with a 3-2 edge.
Key performances included A.J. Dotson scoring three goals and Ehret adding two more for Penn College. Aidan McFalls contributed significantly with one goal and three assists, totaling four points for his team. Goalkeeper Ryan Twist made a substantial impact by saving 20 shots.
