The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team faced a challenging game against Brown at the Pizzitola Sports Center, ending in an 82-72 defeat. Brown's effective shooting in the second half was pivotal, with the Bears hitting 62.5 percent from the field and four out of eight three-point attempts.

Despite Penn narrowing the gap to just one point after a rare seven-point possession, Brown maintained their lead. This victory allowed Brown to improve to 4-5 in Ivy League play and 12-10 overall, while Penn's record fell to 6-16 overall and 2-7 in league play.

Ethan Roberts led all scorers with 26 points for Penn, followed by Sam Brown with 19 points and Nick Spinoso contributing 10 points. Niklas Polonowski added nine points with his three successful three-pointers.

For Brown, Kino Lilly Jr. topped their scoring chart with 23 points and five assists. Landon Lewis contributed significantly with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five blocks.

Penn struggled initially as Brown took an early lead of six points which they managed to extend throughout the game. A technical foul on Brown's coach Mike Martin gave Penn a chance to close in on the score but ultimately did not alter the game's outcome.

The Quakers will next host Dartmouth and Harvard at The Palestra for their final home games of the season.
