Penn College's men's lacrosse team suffered a 21-12 defeat against Susquehanna in a nonconference match on Friday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This result marked the Wildcats' first loss of the season, setting their record at 0-1, while the River Hawks began their season with a win.

The Wildcats took an early lead when Brendan Kuczma assisted Gage McClune in scoring during the 11th minute. They maintained a 2-1 advantage after Elliot Dotson scored unassisted. However, Susquehanna responded with five consecutive goals by the end of the first quarter and into the second, gaining a 6-2 lead. Penn College managed to reduce the deficit to 6-3 through Elliot Dotson's pass to A.J. Dotson at 9:44. The River Hawks then extended their lead by scoring eight more goals, resulting in a halftime score of 14-3.

Susquehanna further increased their advantage to 18-3 in the third quarter before Aidan McFalls scored for Penn College with just over four minutes remaining. Despite a man-up goal from Susquehanna, McClune, Jake Small, and A.J. Dotson each found the net for Penn College, ending the third quarter at 19-7. In the fourth quarter, Penn College outscored Susquehanna 5-2.

A.J. Dotson led Penn College's offense with three goals, while Elliot Dotson contributed significantly with one goal and six assists, totaling seven points. The Wildcats successfully cleared 19 out of 24 attempts and won 18 of their faceoffs.

Looking ahead, Penn College will face Montclair State on March 22.
