Penn College wrestling sophomore heavyweight Nicholai Brotzman has been recognized as the AMCC Wrestler of the Week. Brotzman is the third Wildcat to receive this honor in the current season, following senior Noah Hunt and freshman Carter Davis.
Brotzman's performance included a 3-0 record that contributed to maintaining an undefeated AMCC dual record for the Wildcats. He achieved pins against all three opponents in the first period, totaling just 7:02 minutes on the mat. His day began with a pin at 1:10 against Alfred State's Keaton Renfrow, concluding a 30-17 dual meet victory. He further secured victories with a 2:55 pin over Penn State Behrend's Matthew Caldwell and a 2:57 fall against Pitt-Bradford's Cameron Carter-Green.
