Tyler Mensch Head Men's Soccer Coach | Penn College Wildcats

The Penn College men's soccer team has been recognized with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the Wildcats have received this honor.

Coach Tyler Mensch expressed pride in his team's achievements, stating, "Our student-athletes put a lot of hard work and dedication into their academics, and this is an award we are always striving to obtain." He further emphasized the importance of education at Penn College by adding, "Our student-athletes understand a Penn College education will lead them to successful times in their future areas of work."

In total, 819 soccer teams (317 men’s and 502 women’s) achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year, qualifying them for this award. Among these schools, 186 institutions had both their men's and women's programs honored. Penn College's team posted a commendable grade point average of 3.32.
