Penn College of Technology's men's soccer team secured a decisive 6-0 victory over Wells College in a nonconference match held on Wednesday. This win improved the Wildcats' record to 6-3-2, while the Express remained winless at 0-6-2.

The match began with Tommy Degeyter giving Penn College an early advantage by scoring a penalty kick in the eighth minute. Cooper Smith extended the lead to 2-0 with an unassisted goal just before halftime, occurring in the 34th minute.

The Wildcats continued their strong performance in the second half. Clayton Gothel assisted Tad Shellenberger for a goal in the 48th minute, making it 3-0. Shellenberger then connected with Dylan Daily for another goal in the 52nd minute, bringing the score to 4-0. Tyler Weimert further increased the lead by converting a pass from Nathan Schwartz in the 71st minute. Brendan Geiger scored one minute later, finalizing Penn College's commanding victory.

In terms of gameplay statistics, Penn College outshot Wells College significantly, with a total of 34 shots compared to Wells' single attempt. Additionally, Penn College had a substantial advantage in corner kicks with ten compared to Wells' one.

The Wildcats are scheduled to play next against Penn State Abington at home on Saturday at 1 p.m.
