Penn College secured a narrow victory over Keuka College with a 1-0 win in a nonconference men's soccer match at UPMC Field. This result brings the Wildcats' record to 4-10-2, while the Wolves' record stands at 3-9-2.

The decisive moment came in the 73rd minute when Tad Shellenberger scored, breaking the scoreless tie with a shot that found its way into the back of the net. The Wildcats' goalkeeper, Braden Eckard, maintained the shutout by stopping a critical shot in the 89th minute.

Earlier in the match, Penn College narrowly missed scoring opportunities when Clayton Gothel and Cooper Smith both hit the crossbar in the first half.

Statistically, Penn College dominated with 20 shots compared to Keuka's three and held a significant advantage in corner kicks with nine to Keuka's one. Eckard achieved his first win of the season by making three saves.

Penn College is set to conclude its season on Saturday at Wells College.
