For Penn State Abington, the men's team now stands at 2-2 in the conference and 5-5 overall, while their women's team is at 2-7 overall and holds a conference record of 1-3.
In the matches, "PS Abington's men won five singles and two doubles matches," while "its women's squad took all six singles and three doubles matches."
On the Penn College side, Tucker Phillippe-Johansson secured a win at No. 1 singles with scores of 6-3, 6-4. Additionally, Phillippe-Johansson paired with Paul Langbein to win at No. 1 doubles with an 8-4 scoreline.
The most competitive match for the Wildcats' women was in No. 1 doubles where Delaney Bouton and Kelly Williams narrowly lost with a score of 8-6.
Looking ahead, Penn College will continue its United East play against Lancaster Bible College next Saturday at noon.
