Penn College falls to Lock Haven in women's tennis

Penn College faced a tough challenge against Lock Haven, resulting in a 9-0 defeat during their nonconference women's tennis match on Sunday. This loss brings the Wildcats' record to 0-2, while the Bald Eagles advance to 4-1.

The match saw Lock Haven secure shutouts in both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches. In the No. 3 doubles, Jordan Specht and Kassidi Lenhart fought hard but ultimately lost with a score of 6-2. Specht also had a notable performance in the singles category at No. 5, where she played a competitive match ending with scores of 6-3, 1-6, and finally losing in the tiebreaker with a score of 6-10.

Looking ahead, Penn College is set to compete again on Monday at Susquehanna at 3:30 p.m.
