Penn College tennis teams split matches against Juniata

David Straub Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College's tennis teams faced Juniata College in nonconference matches on Thursday. The women's team secured a victory with a 6-3 score, improving their overall record to 2-3. Meanwhile, the men's team was defeated by the same score, bringing their record to an even 2-2. Juniata's women's team remains winless at 0-3, while the men's team holds a record of 2-1.

In the women's match, Penn College claimed four singles and two doubles victories. Georgia Macensky delivered a strong performance with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and also partnered with Emma Fox for success at No. 2 doubles. Lauren Peck and Kassidi Lenhart also contributed to the singles wins.

For the men's team, Kyle Shuler won his match at No. 2 singles and Logan Ogden triumphed at No. 5 singles.

Penn College is set to host King's College in another nonconference match on Sunday at the Central PA Tennis Center.
