David Straub Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College's men's and women's tennis teams faced defeat in their United East home matches against Penn State Abington on Friday. The men's team was defeated 6-3, while the women's team lost 7-2.

Following this match, the Wildcat men have a record of 1-1 in the United East conference and 2-3 overall. The women hold a record of 0-1 in the conference and 2-4 overall. On the other hand, Penn State Abington's men's team improved to 2-1 in the conference with an overall record of 7-2. Their women's team stands at 1-1 in the conference and has an overall record of 3-7.

For the men, Penn College secured victories in two singles matches and one doubles match. Alex Norris and Logan Ogden triumphed at the third and fifth singles positions respectively, while Norris teamed up with Kyle Shuler to win at No. 1 doubles.

In the women's matches, Lauren Peck claimed victory at No. 2 singles, and Madalyn Adams won at No. 3 singles for Penn College.

The next match for Penn College is scheduled against Lancaster Bible College in a United East contest at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
