The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team is set to continue its Ivy League schedule with games against Brown and Yale this weekend. The Quakers will face Brown on Friday, February 2, at the Pizzitola Center in Providence, Rhode Island, followed by a game against Yale on Saturday, February 3, at the John J. Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Connecticut. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The series between Penn and Brown marks their 143rd meeting, with Penn leading the series 114-28. Penn has dominated recent encounters, winning five consecutive games against Brown and ten of the last eleven meetings since the 2016-17 season. Similarly, Penn holds a historical advantage over Yale with a record of 153-85 in their previous meetings.

In preparation for these matchups, it is noted that freshman Tyler Perkins was recently recognized as Ivy League Rookie of the Week and Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week after his performance against Columbia.

The Ivy League's preseason media poll had predicted Penn to finish fifth in the league standings while Brown was picked fourth and Yale first.

For fans unable to attend in person, live audio commentary will be available through the Quaker Audio Network with Matt Leon providing play-by-play coverage alongside analyst Brad Fadem.

Penn has experienced changes in its schedule this season due to adjustments within the Ivy League calendar. This includes playing four traditional "Ivy weekends" over five weeks from February into March.
