Penn College's men's soccer team achieved a milestone by securing five all-conference selections, marking the most in its NCAA-era history. The United East announced its 2024 All-Conference awards and postseason honors on Wednesday.

Senior Tommy DeGeyter was named to the first-team defense, earning his third all-conference selection. Freshman Scott Goldfeder received second-team midfield honors, while seniors Logan Stapleton (midfield), Matt Neeson (defense), and Jack Lenosky (defense) were recognized with third-team considerations.

The Wildcats' five selections are their highest since 2004 when they were part of the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference.

DeGeyter from Long Valley, N.J., became only the third Wildcat to achieve three or more all-conference nods. As senior captain, he led his team in points (18), goals (6), and assists (6) for two consecutive seasons. He successfully converted all three penalty kick opportunities and contributed to five shutouts for the Wildcats.

Goldfeder from Mechanicsburg, Pa., tied for second on the team with 10 points, scoring four goals and providing two assists during his freshman year. He scored twice against Penn State Schuylkill and added a goal and an assist in games against Alfred State and Gallaudet.

Stapleton from Chambersburg, Pa., Neeson from Chadds Ford, Pa., and Lenosky from Moon Township, Pa., concluded their college careers with their first all-conference selections after starting every game this season. Stapleton tied for second on the team with four goals and two assists. Lenosky contributed six points through two goals and two assists while Neeson provided one assist during the season.

The trio also played key roles in a defensive unit that helped secure five shutouts with a 1.11 goals-against average as a team.

Penn College set an NCAA-era record by winning 11 games this season, achieving a 5-1-2 record against United East opponents which earned them their first home playoff game victory over Keystone to reach the quarterfinals.
