Assistant Baseball Coach Jared Grove | Penn College Wildcats
Penn College sophomores Brandon Shane and Ryan Sawyer have been named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Division III Baseball Team. Shane, from Boyertown, Pennsylvania, and Sawyer, from Cornwall, New York, were recognized for their achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-District Baseball Team, student-athletes must be at least sophomores with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Additionally, they must have participated in 90% of their institution's contests or started in 66% of them.
The teams are chosen by College Sports Communicators to honor top student-athletes nationwide. Those who receive Academic All-District honors are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. The first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on July 2.
