Penn College's women's tennis team concluded its fall season with a 7-0 defeat against Lycoming College on Tuesday. The match took place in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and marked the end of a challenging season for the Wildcats, who finished with a record of 0-5. In contrast, Lycoming College improved their standing to 7-2.

Lycoming College secured victories in all six singles matches and three doubles matches during the competition. Among the more competitive encounters for Penn College were Faith Murray's performance at No. 3 singles, where she lost 4-6, 3-6, and Gwynn Johnson's match at No. 6 singles, ending in a loss of 2-6, 4-6. Notably, Murray had achieved a commendable singles record of 4-1 throughout the fall season.

Looking ahead, Penn College's men's tennis team is set to conclude their fall schedule with a match against Juniata College at 5 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, the women's team will pause until the spring season begins.
