Penn College secured a decisive 8-0 victory over Penn State Schuylkill in a nonconference men's soccer match on Tuesday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats' record improved to 2-2, while the Nittany Lions fell to 0-4.

In the first half, Penn College netted seven goals. Austin Stapleton scored from Robert Antonini's pass in the 15th minute and then assisted Scott Goldfeder in the 16th minute. Goldfeder added an unassisted goal in the 18th minute, making it 3-0. Justin Boring connected with Kegan Foster for a goal in the 28th minute, followed by an own goal by Schuylkill in the 31st minute to bring the score to 5-0. Peyton Jones scored from a Foster pass in the 38th minute, and Nathan Schwartz added an unassisted goal in the 40th minute.

Will Gallagher scored the only goal of the second half for Penn College.

Penn College outshot Penn State Schuylkill, totaling 30 shots to Schuylkill's three (22 on target versus one). The Wildcats also held an advantage with eight corner kicks compared to four for Schuylkill.

Justin Potts earned the win as goalkeeper for Penn College.

Next, Penn College will play against St. Vincent College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
