The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team is set to conclude its Big 5 play with a game against Drexel on Saturday. The match will take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia as part of the Big 5 Classic presented by Toyota. Following this, Penn will travel to Richmond for its inaugural encounter with VCU on Monday night.
Saturday's game against Drexel is scheduled for 2 p.m., and fans can watch it on NBC Sports Philadelphia+ or listen via the Quaker Audio Network (QAN). On Monday, Penn faces VCU at 7 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN+ and MASN.
Penn currently holds a record of 3-5, while Drexel stands at 5-4. This marks the 28th meeting between Penn and Drexel, with Penn leading the series 17-10. The Quakers have won their last two meetings against the Dragons.
Monday's game will be historic as it is the first time Penn has faced VCU in men's basketball. Notably, VCU is the only Atlantic 10 program that Penn has not previously played against.
The Quaker Audio Network offers free streaming of all games from Penn's men's basketball season. Matt Leon provides play-by-play commentary alongside analyst Stan Pawlak.
In addition to facing Drexel and VCU, other games in the Big 5 Classic include Temple vs. Villanova and Saint Joseph's vs. La Salle later on Saturday.
