The University of Pennsylvania's cross country teams participated in the Main Line Invitational at Haverford College on Friday evening. The men's team secured the victory with a total of 21 points, while the women's team achieved second place with 39 points.

In the men's four-mile race, Dennis Fortuna led the Quakers with a sixth-place finish, completing the course in 20:02.0. Other top performers included Nick Carpenter (11th), George Keen (12th), Vidhur Polam (13th), and Liam Going (15th). This event marked Fortuna's first collegiate win.

For the women, Zoe Shetty was the leading runner, finishing fifth in the three-mile race with a time of 17:20.8. Kelly Murray and Miranda Schriver closely followed her, placing sixth and seventh respectively, while Phoebe White finished ninth.

Looking ahead, part of the team will travel to Boston for the Battle in Beantown on September 29, while another group will head to Lehigh for the Paul Short Invitational on September 30.
