Quaker Meeting House (QMH) shared reflections on recent Ivy League basketball events, focusing on two pivotal games. In the women's basketball Ivy League Tournament semifinal at Columbia, Penn faced Princeton. With 14 seconds left and trailing 57-54, Jordan Obi's layup was nullified by a charge call, leading to a 59-54 loss for Penn. Head coach Mike McLaughlin believed it was a block.

In the men's final, Brown led Yale 60-54 with 27 seconds remaining but lost 66-61 after Yale's last-second plays. Despite the defeat, Brown's performance was notable as they nearly secured their first March Madness bid since 1986.

Three Ivy teams are in the NCAA Tournaments: Yale men face Auburn; Princeton women play West Virginia; Columbia women compete against Vanderbilt in a "First Four" game.

Additionally, three former Quakers will participate in March Madness: Kayla Padilla with USC women, Jelani Williams with Howard men, and Faye Parker with Richmond women.

Penn Athletics had other highlights: The gymnastics team won the Gymnastics East Conference regular-season title. The track & field program earned accolades at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Baseball set a record with a 22-8 win over Lafayette. Several athletes prepare for upcoming national championships in swimming, wrestling, and fencing.
