The Ivy League and Philadelphia Big 5 have announced their weekly awards in men's basketball, recognizing two players from the University of Pennsylvania. Senior guard Clark Slajchert was named co-recipient of the Big 5 Men's Player of the Week, while freshman guard Tyler Perkins earned his third Ivy League Rookie of the Week honor.

Slajchert led Penn with 20 points during its season finale against Princeton. The senior guard made eight out of eleven shots from the field, including a perfect six-for-six inside the arc. Sixteen of his points were scored in the second half. He also contributed six assists, just one short of his season and career high. Perkins added 17 points to Penn's effort, with twelve coming after halftime. The freshman shot six-for-twelve from the field and was flawless at the foul line with five successful free throws. He also tied for team-high honors in rebounds alongside junior Nick Spinoso.

Both Slajchert and Perkins finished as Penn's top scorers this season, averaging 18.0 and 13.7 points per game respectively. Slajchert concluded his three-year college career with a total of 1,030 points, placing him 42nd on Penn's all-time scoring list. This season alone saw him achieve twenty double-figure scoring games, ten of which were over twenty points each. Meanwhile, Perkins set a new program record for freshman scoring with 398 points and led his team with twenty-one double-figure scoring games.

Penn's season ended following Saturday night's game against Princeton—the historic 250th meeting between these two teams.
