The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team is set to conclude its 2023-24 season with a game against Princeton at The Palestra on Saturday. The event will also serve as Senior Day, honoring graduating seniors Colin Chambers, Andrew Laczkowski, and Clark Slajchert before the game starts at 6 p.m.

This matchup marks the 250th meeting between Penn and Princeton in men's basketball. Currently, Penn leads the historic rivalry with a record of 126-123. The series has been ongoing since their first encounter on February 14, 1903.

"Some notes about the most historic rivalry in Ivy League basketball... You might be wondering if it's the most-played rivalry in college basketball. It is not even in the top 10!" reads part of the announcement.

Princeton comes into this game with a strong season record of 23-3 overall and an Ivy League record of 11-2. Meanwhile, Penn holds an overall record of 11-17 and is currently at 3-10 within the Ivy League.

Clark Slajchert recently joined Penn's prestigious 1,000-point club during last week's win over Columbia. "Slajchert became the latest member to join the program's prestigious 1,000-point club," according to reports from earlier games.

Freshman Tyler Perkins is nearing another milestone; he needs just five points to surpass Brodeur's freshman scoring record set in the 2016-17 season.

Fans can watch Saturday’s game live on ESPN+ or listen via Quaker Audio Network (QAN), where Matt Leon will provide play-by-play commentary alongside analyst Brad Fadem.
