Yaw, Center for Rural Pennsylvania Visit Mifflinburg’s Ritz-Craft Corporation

Sen. Gene Yaw, Chairman of the Center for Rural Pennsylvania Board of Directors, recently visited Ritz-Craft Corporation in Union County to discuss the company's future development plans. Yaw expressed his excitement about the company's expansion into other areas of business and the economic benefits it brings to the region. He stated, "The team from Ritz-Craft has a proven track record in the manufacturing and hospitality industries, and I am thrilled to see their continued progress."

During the visit, Yaw and the Board members toured several facilities under the Ritz-Craft umbrella, including The Rusty Rail Brewing Company and Legacy Crafted Cabinets. Paul John, President and CEO of Ritz-Craft, expressed his appreciation for the interest shown by the Board of Directors. He said, "We are excited about the exceptional support offered by Sen. Yaw towards the John Family's continuous investment in the economic development, historic restoration, and tourism of the Borough of Mifflinburg."

Ritz-Craft, a family-owned company, is the largest employer in Mifflinburg and the third largest in Union County, employing approximately 700 people. Since its inception in 1954, Ritz-Craft has built over 100,000 homes. The company's expansion into other successful business ventures in the area, such as Rusty Rail Brewing Company and Legacy Crafted Cabinets, showcases their commitment to the local community.

Yaw's visit to Ritz-Craft and his support for the company's growth highlight his dedication to promoting economic development in rural areas. This visit not only recognizes Ritz-Craft's accomplishments but also serves as a testament to the potential for growth and success in the Borough of Mifflinburg.
