Penn College's baseball team concluded its Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach with a 3-3 record. The Wildcats secured victories in the first games against WPI, Penn State York, and Hilbert but lost the second games to each opponent. The team returns home with an overall season record of 3-6.

On Sunday, March 9, Penn College split its series with WPI. The Wildcats won the first game 10-9 thanks to Jaiden Augustine's two-run walk-off single. WPI responded by winning the second game 10-1.

During the opening game, after falling behind 1-0, Penn College took a 2-1 lead with Levi Purnell's two-run single that scored Nathan Gutkey and Augustine. McGuire Heverly added another run with an RBI single in the third inning. WPI tied it up before taking a 9-7 lead in the seventh inning. However, Kevin Cute's double and subsequent plays set up Augustine for his decisive hit.

On Tuesday, March 11, Penn College defeated Penn State York 15-5 in their first game but lost the second game 11-2. In their victory, Augustine contributed five RBIs and scored twice while going three-for-three at bat. Ethan Hannevig achieved his first career win as a pitcher.

The following day, Wednesday, March 12, saw Penn College triumph over Hilbert in their first matchup with an 8-7 win but succumbed to a 13-3 defeat in the nightcap. Ty Jenkins led offensively with three hits during their win. Dennis Prestash pitched two innings allowing one earned run and Parker White closed out the game for a save.

Penn College now prepares for upcoming challenges as they continue their season.
