The Ivy League has released its All-Ivy teams and postseason awards for the 2024-25 men's basketball season. University of Pennsylvania sophomore guard Sam Brown was named to the second-team All-Ivy by the conference coaches.

Brown participated in all 27 games this season, sharing the team lead with 26 starts. He averaged 13.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, along with contributing 61 assists, 20 steals, and making 52 three-point baskets. He led his team, the Quakers, in scoring during six games and achieved double figures in scoring on 19 occasions, including four games where he scored over 20 points. In Ivy League play specifically, Brown led all players in scoring (19.3 ppg) and free-throw percentage (.891). He ranked second in three-point field goal percentage (.430), sixth in both three-pointers per game (2.6), and assist/turnover ratio (2.28).

A notable highlight of Brown's season was when he scored 42 points during a win against Columbia on the final weekend of Ivy League play. This achievement marked just the fourth time a player scored at least 40 points in Penn's program history since Hassan Duncombe's record-setting performance against Navy on December 8, 1989.

In other honors within the league, Yale senior Bez Mbeng received both Player of the Year for the first time and his third Defensive Player of the Year award. Harvard freshman Robert Hinton was unanimously chosen as Rookie of the Year. Additionally, Dartmouth's coaching staff earned recognition as Ivy League Staff of the Year.

Pennsylvania's basketball season concluded with their recent game against Princeton.
