Penn College senior Tommy DeGeyter has been named to the United Soccer Coaches Region IV Second Team, as announced on Tuesday. This recognition marks a significant milestone for DeGeyter, who becomes the first player in the program's NCAA Era history to earn an all-region selection.
Throughout the season, DeGeyter demonstrated outstanding performance, becoming only the third Wildcat in program history to receive three or more all-conference honors. As team captain, he led the Wildcats with 18 points, scoring six goals and providing six assists for the second consecutive season. He also maintained a perfect record in penalty kick opportunities, converting all three attempts.
DeGeyter concluded the season tied for 15th in scoring and points within the United East conference and ranked sixth in assists. He took 28 shots during the season, with half of them on target. His defensive contributions were instrumental in helping the Wildcats achieve five shutouts.
