Penn College women's volleyball team faced a defeat against Saint Elizabeth in a United East match on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats concluded their season with a 1-9 conference record and an overall record of 3-24, while the Eagles improved to 3-7 in the conference and 10-13 overall.
The match began with a closely contested first set, ending with a score of 25-21 in favor of Saint Elizabeth. The following sets saw the Wildcats fall with scores of 25-13 and 25-15.
Ava Harple led Penn College's offense, achieving seven kills and two assists, alongside contributing 11 digs on defense. Hailey DeBrody added five kills, and Nevaeh Ward finished with three. Lana Howard recorded two aces, one block, and led the team with 14 digs. Jo Hess provided nine assists during the match.
