Carolyn McKeon Head Women's Volleyball Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College faced a defeat against St. Mary's in a United East Conference volleyball match, with the final score being 3-0 in favor of the Seahawks. The match took place on Saturday afternoon in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This loss leaves the Wildcats with a record of 1-7 in conference matches and an overall record of 3-22. In contrast, St. Mary's improved their standing to 8-1 in the conference and 16-10 overall.

The match concluded with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, and 25-12, all won by St. Mary's. Navaeh Ward contributed eight points for Penn College, leading her team with seven kills and one service ace while also adding eight digs defensively. Laney Wolfe and Jo Hess collectively achieved 16 digs; Hess further assisted on 13 out of the team's total of 16 kills.

St. Mary's performance was bolstered by Maya Mauro and Julia Bobrowski, who recorded ten and thirteen kills respectively.

Looking ahead, the Wildcats are preparing for their home finale against Penn State Abington scheduled for next Tuesday at 6 p.m.
