Penn College's women's soccer team secured a decisive 9-0 victory over Carlow in a nonconference match held on Saturday. This marks the team's second consecutive shutout, maintaining their unbeaten streak with a record of 4-0-3. Meanwhile, Carlow remains winless at 0-5-1.

In the early stages of the game, Megan Kurian assisted Olivia Casella in scoring during the 18th minute and later scored an unassisted goal in the 23rd minute, giving Penn College a solid 2-0 lead. Rylee Oliphant then set up Kathryn Dunn for a goal in the 37th minute and followed with her own unassisted goal four minutes later, bringing the halftime score to 4-0 in favor of Penn College.

The Wildcats continued their dominance into the second half with Cassie Johnson scoring off a pass from Kurian in the 52nd minute. Just moments later, Kurian scored again, making it 6-0. Sierra Klinger assisted Hayleigh Klinger for another goal in the 54th minute. Wiley Egan and Rylee Oliphant concluded the scoring spree for Penn College.

Throughout the match, Penn College outshot Carlow with a total of 26 attempts to Carlow's nine, including a substantial advantage of shots on goal at 15 to five. The Wildcats also led in corner kicks with five compared to Carlow's two.

Nicole Lichtinger played a crucial role by stopping five shots on goal, securing her team's victory.

The Wildcats are set to continue their season against LaRoche on Sunday at 2 p.m.
