Penn College finishes cross-country season at NCAA Division III regionals

In Newville, Pennsylvania, the Penn College men's and women's cross-country teams concluded their season at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region Cross-Country Championships. The men's team secured 27th place, while the women's team finished in 30th.

Alec Rees was a standout for the men's team, finishing 149th with a time of 30:58.2 on the 8K course. Other contributors included Dean Fulton, who came in 154th at 31:18.8; Nick Snow, who placed 184th at 32:58.1; Will Deem, who took 202nd at 35:10.2; and Chad Bomboy, who completed his run in 213th place with a time of 36:46.0.

For the women, Cinnamon Digan led by finishing 190th with a time of 30:40.8 on the 6K course. Taylor Schon followed closely behind in 198th place with a time of 31:42.8. Teagan Willey finished just after Schon in 199th at 31:43.0, Kristina Mease was next in line placing 204th at 32:59.9, and Charlee Marshall wrapped up the team's efforts in 209th place with a time of 35:49.7.

Carnegie Mellon emerged victorious among men’s teams from a pool of thirty-one teams with a total score of thirty points. Christopher Scharf from Dickinson College claimed individual honors by completing the race in an impressive time of twenty-five minutes and fifty-one point six seconds out of two hundred twenty-two runners.

In women's competition, Johns Hopkins dominated with twenty points against thirty-one competing teams. Isabel Cardi from Dickinson stood out individually by crossing the finish line first among two hundred sixteen runners with her timing recorded at twenty-two minutes and thirteen seconds.
