David Straub Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach | Penn College Wildcats
Penn College's Paul Langbein achieved a top-four finish in the No. 1 men's singles category at the King's College Invitational held over the weekend in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Langbein secured a victory in his quarterfinal match on Saturday, which advanced him to Sunday's semifinal round. There, he faced Joshua Sanderson from Susquehanna University and was defeated with scores of 6-4, 6-1.
In addition to Langbein's performance, Kyle Shuler also represented Penn College at No. 2 singles but lost in a second-set tiebreaker on Saturday. The doubles team of Langbein and Shuler competed at No. 1 doubles but were defeated with an 8-5 score.
Looking ahead, Penn College is scheduled to play against Marywood University on Sunday at 2 p.m.
