The University of Pennsylvania has announced its new recruits for the men's basketball team for the 2024-25 season. Head Coach Steve Donahue introduced four freshmen: Bradyn Foster, AJ Levine, Alex Massung, and Mike Oberti.

Donahue expressed enthusiasm about the new additions to the team. "I am excited to get started with this group of guys," he said. "We set out to find specific needs with this class when we hit the recruiting trail, and I think these four young men we are bringing in check those boxes. We hope to see them contribute to our culture immediately and look forward to seeing them make their mark on the court over the next four years."

Bradyn Foster from Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, is a notable addition. A 6-foot-8-inch player from Highlands High School, he was a four-year letter winner and served as captain in his senior year. He completed his high school career as a 1,000-point scorer.

AJ Levine hails from Elmhurst, Illinois. Standing at 6 feet tall, he was a three-year letter winner at York High School and helped his team win a regional championship as a senior.

Alex Massung comes from West Orange, New Jersey. At Hudson Catholic High School, he was a four-time letter winner and scored over 1,000 points during his high school career.

Mike Oberti is originally from Riva di Solto, Italy. The 6-foot-10-inch player attended Morris Catholic High School in New Jersey where he led his team to three consecutive conference championships.

Each recruit shared their reasons for choosing Penn. Foster cited academic opportunities and basketball culture; Levine mentioned academics and family-oriented basketball; Massung felt at home with supportive coaches; Oberti valued both academics and basketball excellence.
