Penn College freshman center fielder Dallas Griess has been named to the ABCA/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com All-Region 4 Third Teams. The announcement was made on Tuesday, marking a significant achievement for Griess, who is the first Wildcat to receive two All-Region honors in a single season. He joins Brittan Kittle (2021) and Jacob Carles (2022) in earning these distinctions.

Griess is one of ten United East representatives on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Teams and one of thirteen conference representatives on the 2024 D3Baseball.com Region 4 Teams. His performance this season includes a .386 batting average, ranking twelfth in the conference, and leading his team with a .667 slugging percentage and on-base percentage. He accumulated 44 hits, seven doubles, four triples, five home runs, and scored 38 runs. Griess also achieved 13 multi-hit games, including six three-hit games and an impressive 4-for-5 game against Lancaster Bible.

The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams are selected by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association under the guidance of the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

The year 2024 marks the twelfth season that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams. Over 1,000 players were nominated for consideration before staff and contributors voted to determine three teams per region.
