Penn College concluded a three-game United East series with Lancaster Bible, suffering defeats in both games on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 3-2 in the first game and were shut out 10-0 in the second. This result leaves Penn College with an overall record of 4-8 and 0-3 in conference play, while Lancaster Bible improved to 9-4 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

In the opening game, despite out-hitting Lancaster Bible 8-5, Penn College managed only two runs. Starting pitcher Jonas McGrath allowed five hits, walked four, and struck out eight but took the loss, dropping his record to 1-2. Lancaster Bible scored early with a run in the second inning and added two more in the fourth, driven by Evan Sareyka's performance.

Penn College responded with single runs in the third and seventh innings. Dallas Griess was instrumental, going 3 for 4 at bat with two runs scored. Shawn Townsend also contributed significantly with three hits and two RBIs.

The second game saw Lancaster Bible capitalize on five errors by Penn College. They scored consistently across multiple innings to secure a decisive victory. Wildcats' pitcher Griffin Vollman pitched for 4.2 innings, conceding six hits and seven runs, four of which were earned. Dylan Witkowski secured the win for Lancaster Bible by pitching a complete game.

Nick Colarossi drove in two runs for Lancaster Bible, while Harrison Hobdy recorded two hits and three runs.

Penn College is set to host Pitt-Bradford next Tuesday at Bowman Field for a nonconference doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
