Penn College's women's soccer team secured a 9-0 victory over Keystone College, marking their sixth consecutive win in the United East conference. This victory allowed the Wildcats to set a new program record for wins in a season with an unbeaten record of 6-0-1 in the UE and 13-0-4 overall. In contrast, Keystone College's team fell to 0-6 in the conference and 2-11 overall.
Megan Kurian played a pivotal role by contributing to Penn College's first six goals. Her performance broke Kaelynn Sheetz' '24 record for points in a season. Kurian assisted Olivia Casella early on and scored herself shortly after, helping her team establish an early lead. By halftime, Penn College led 6-0 with Kurian having scored or assisted on each goal.
Kurian also matched Sheetz' single-season goal record of 24 and exceeded Johnson's previous season record of 13 assists. The second half saw Kathryn Dunn assist Hayleigh Klinger and Cassie Johnson scoring twice more, sealing the game at 9-0.
The Wildcats dominated the match statistically as well, outshooting Keystone by a significant margin of 26-1 with all shots on target favoring them at 16-0. They also held a clear advantage in corner kicks at 9-0. Nicole Lichtinger achieved her ninth win as goalkeeper for Penn College.
Looking ahead, Penn College is set to host Bryn Athyn this Saturday at 1 p.m.
