Penn College faced a challenging match against Keystone College in a United East women's volleyball game, resulting in a 3-0 loss for the Wildcats. The match took place on Tuesday evening at Bardo Gym in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. With this defeat, Penn College's record fell to 1-4 in conference matches and 3-17 overall. Meanwhile, Keystone improved its standing to 4-1 in the conference and 16-3 overall.
The visiting Giants secured their victory with set wins of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-12. Senior Hailey DeBrody led the Wildcats with a .235 hitting percentage, contributing eight kills, 12 digs, and three blocks during the match. Nevaeh Ward also supported the team with five kills, one ace, and five digs. Overall, Penn College accumulated a total of 16 kills and five blocks.
Keystone's performance was bolstered by Kaliyah Brown and Taylor Hallam. Both players achieved seven kills each while Hallam added five aces and two blocks to her stats.
Looking ahead, Penn College will embark on a four-match road trip starting with an away game against Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday at 7 p.m.
