Penn College ends losing streak with decisive win over Juniata

Penn College secured a 16-6 victory over Juniata in a nonconference men's lacrosse game, breaking their three-game losing streak. The Wildcats now hold a record of 3-5, while the Eagles dropped to 2-6.

In the opening quarter, Penn College quickly established a 4-0 lead with goals from Devin Page, Harrison Schlachta, Jake Small, and AJ Dotson. They concluded the quarter with a 6-1 advantage after additional scores by Gage McClune and Dotson. In the second quarter, Small and McFalls each scored twice, extending the Wildcats' lead to 10-1 by halftime.

The third quarter saw PCT extend their lead to 15-5 with two more goals from McFalls and one from Joah O'Leary. Guerin San Augustin scored the final goal for the Wildcats.

Statistically, Penn College outshot Juniata 51-35 and succeeded in 16 of their 18 clear attempts. McFalls led his team with five goals, while Small and Dotson contributed three and two goals respectively. Both McFalls and Schlachta recorded two assists each. Alex Hammond achieved his first win as goalkeeper with 11 saves.

Penn College is set to play against Alvernia on Saturday at 1 p.m.
