Penn College junior attack Quinn Caviola has been recognized with an honorable mention in Division III Region 2 by the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association. This marks the first time a Wildcat player has received this honor, as announced on Tuesday.

Caviola played a significant role during the team's spring season, which concluded with an 11-7 record and a top-four finish in the United East Conference. Throughout the season, he started in 11 out of 17 matches, scoring 24 goals and providing 23 assists, accumulating a total of 47 points. Additionally, he recorded 44 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers.

In conference play, Caviola earned first-team honors as a freshman and was named to the second team in both his sophomore and junior years.

Penn College coach Jordan Williams explained that Region 2 comprises teams from various conferences including the United East, Liberty League, SUNYAC, Empire 8, and Skyline conferences.

The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association was established in 2004 with the mission to educate and empower coaches while honoring past contributors to lacrosse and fostering integrity within the sport for future generations.
