Penn College sophomore midfielder AJ Dotson has been recognized as the United East Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week, according to an announcement made by the league office on Monday. This marks Dotson's first weekly award from the conference this season and is the first player of the week honor for Penn College since Quinn Caviola received it on March 27, 2023.

Dotson achieved a single-game program record with 11 points during the Wildcats' 29-6 victory over Cairn in their conference opener on Saturday. His performance included a season-high six goals and five assists from nine shots on goal. The sophomore midfielder completed a hat-trick with 3:23 remaining in the first quarter and added three more goals before concluding the third quarter. Additionally, Dotson collected six ground balls during the game.
