Penn College junior Peyton Mussina has been named United East Men's Golfer of the Week for the seventh time in his career. The announcement was made by the league office on Tuesday, following Mussina's performance at the Gettysburg Spring Shootout over the weekend.
Mussina finished second out of 63 players, shooting a 3-under 141 on the par 72, 6,794-yard Founders Course. He led Saturday's field with a score of 3-under 69 and followed up with an even-par 72 on Sunday, securing a runner-up finish. His performance included carding 11 birdies and contributing to the Wildcats' seventh-place team finish.
