Penn College's men's golf team has once again emerged victorious at the United East Fall Preview, marking their third consecutive win in this event. The tournament took place on Monday at the Chambersburg Country Club in Pennsylvania.
Peyton Mussina led the charge for Penn College, securing the top individual spot with a score of 1-over 74 on the par 73 course. The field comprised 36 players. Other notable performances from Penn College included Will Orwig, who shot a 79 and tied for third place, Brady Handy with an 82 tying for ninth, Gunner Redmond scoring an 85 to tie for 18th, and Matt Capoferri finishing with a 91, tying for 27th position.
The Wildcats' combined score was 320, which was nine strokes ahead of their closest competitors. Only the four lowest scores from each team contributed to this total.
In terms of team standings behind Penn College were Penn State Harrisburg with a score of 329, followed by Lancaster Bible College at 332. Other teams included Penn State Abington and Rutgers-Camden both at 337, Penn State Brandywine at 346, and Rosemont trailing with a score of 425.
Individually following Mussina was Liam O'Rourke from Rosemont who finished two strokes behind with a score of 76.
Looking ahead, Penn College is set to compete next Tuesday and Wednesday in the Alvernia University Fall Invitational held at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
