Carolyn McKeon Head Women's Volleyball Coach | Penn College Wildcats

Penn College's volleyball team faced a setback on Saturday, falling to Cairn University in straight sets during the United East conference match. The Wildcats' current conference record stands at 1-1, with an overall performance of 3-14. In contrast, Cairn University improved their standing to 2-0 in the conference and holds an overall record of 8-2.

The match saw Cairn securing victories with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, and 25-17. On the offensive side for Penn College, Nevaeh Ward was a standout performer with 10 kills and one ace, contributing to a total of 11 points. Hailey DeBrody also made her mark with three aces, while Lana Howard added two more.

Defensively, Laney Wolfe recorded 13 digs and Ava Harple added another 10 digs for the Wildcats.

Looking ahead, Penn College is set to host Penn State Brandywine on Wednesday at 6 p.m., as part of their ongoing United East schedule.
