Gunner Redmond and Brady Handy led the Penn College golf team at the Drew Birdie Bash, both tying for 30th place. The event took place at Flanders Valley Golf Course in New Jersey, where the Wildcats secured a ninth-place finish among 12 teams.

Redmond and Handy each scored 82 on the par 72, 6,765-yard course. Brett Keenan followed with an 86, tying for 43rd place. Will Orwig shot an 88 to tie for 47th, while Matt Copaferri's score of 89 placed him tied for 49th.

Avery Cohen from Drew B emerged as the individual medalist in the competition with a score of three-under-par 69 in a field of 60 players.

In team rankings, Drew B led with a score of 298. They were closely followed by Scranton with a score of 299. Stevens "B" and Drew "C" tied at third place with scores of 308. Other teams included Kean at 315, Elizabethtown at 320, Eastern University at 322, Ursinus at 330, Penn College at 338, Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham at 339, Mt. St. Mary College (N.Y.) at 343, and William Patterson rounding out the list with a score of 344.

The next challenge for Penn College will be the United East Fall Preview hosted by Wilson College on Monday at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
