Penn College's women's soccer team began their United East conference play with a decisive 7-0 victory over Valley Forge on Saturday afternoon in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This win marks the Wildcats' fifth consecutive victory, maintaining an unbeaten record of 7-0-3. Valley Forge started their conference slate with a loss and now holds an overall record of 2-5-0.

Rylee Oliphant led the Wildcats to victory by scoring three goals. She netted one goal in the first half and added two more in the second half. Megan Kurian and Piper Minier also contributed to the first-half lead, scoring unassisted goals in the eighth and 22nd minutes, respectively. Kurian assisted Oliphant for another goal in the 27th minute, giving Penn College a 3-0 advantage at halftime.

In the second half, Kurian and Oliphant scored back-to-back goals in the 65th minute, followed by Oliphant completing her hat-trick with a goal in the 72nd minute. Ginny Yost concluded the match with her first goal of the season in the 75th minute.

Penn College dominated offensively with 23 shots on goal and earned ten corner kicks while their defense did not allow any shots from Valley Forge. Goalkeeper Lichtinger had a quiet day as she faced no attempts on target.

Next up for Penn College is a match against Penn State Abington on Wednesday at 1 p.m., concluding their five-match road trip.
