Penn College emerged victorious against Lycoming College in a nonconference men's lacrosse match on Wednesday night, securing a 20-7 win. This marks the Wildcats' third consecutive victory, improving their record to 3-2, while the Warriors fall to 1-2.

The game saw Penn College breaking a 3-3 tie at the end of the first quarter with a seven-goal surge in both the second and third quarters. The Wildcats limited Lycoming to only four additional goals for the remainder of the match. Aidan McFalls contributed significantly by scoring back-to-back goals, giving his team a 3-2 lead before Lycoming equalized just before the end of the opening period.

During the second quarter, Penn College continued their offensive momentum with another seven-goal run. McFalls completed his hat-trick with the team's fifth goal of that period. Owen Kupsey also achieved a hat-trick, contributing three goals in the second quarter alone, leading to a 10-3 advantage for Penn College. The Wildcats maintained their dominance into the third quarter as Jake Small secured his hat-trick with over ten minutes remaining, extending their lead to 13-4.

Overall, eleven different players from Penn College scored during this match. McFalls led with five goals while Will Ehret provided four assists and one goal. The team took 60 shots (37 on target) and won 23 out of 30 faceoff attempts, with Levi Borkowski winning 13 out of his 14 attempts. Ryan Twist made six saves to secure the win as goalkeeper, and Alex Hammond added three saves in relief.

Looking ahead, Penn College will face Guilford in another nonconference matchup on Saturday at 2 p.m.
